Lodge Boy Productions is the production arm of writer/director Jared Ingram's dedication to create fun, entertaining, character driven films with an unusual quality of depth.

Jared Ingram is a Santa Barbara, CA based filmmaker with a wide range of skills including writing, directing, editing, and teaching. His work focuses on personal stories told with heart, humor, and depth.

He recently completed a 35mm twelve minute film loosely inspired by his most recent feature script Looking Up Dresses. The short stars Sam Huntington (Superman Returns, Fanboys) and boasts Bill Butler as Director of Photography (Jaws, Grease, Frailty).

It was recently awarded "Best Short Comedy" as well as the "Audience Award" at the First Glance Film Festival Hollywood. Jared was one of five directors to be nominated for "Best Director" at the Malibu Film Festival. The short was also a finalist at the USA Film Festival in Dallas and was an official selection at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and the Vail Film Festival.

His previous feature Out of Life was honored as a semi-finalist at the Austin Film Festival, placing it in the top 25 out of 4,300 submissions (Top 1%). It was also a quarterfinalist in the prestigious Nicholl's Fellowship.

In 2003, his short film “The Cue Ball Project” screened at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and also at the Toronto Online Film Festival. Jared recently completed a music video for the band Petracovich and two more short films, “No End” and “Painless”.

Jared’s first short film “Broken Hallelujah” screened at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in 2001.

Jared is also a Santa Barbara City College professor, teaching Film Production for the Multimedia Arts and Design Academy.
